Clusters and series consonants of the Kaur language (phonological analysis)

The phonotactic system is one of the interesting phonological systems to explain because it that regulates existence, abilities, and inability phoneme combinations a language. To end, this article describes Kaur language which includes (1) cluster (2) consonant series system. data in study were sourced from six key informants who domiciled Regency (Bengkulu Province) with criteria being between 50-65 years old, native tribe, never left their area, mastered culture well, communicative. Data was collected through interviews recording devices. analyzed determine help speech analyzer. results showed (KL) there are 14 clusters (/pl/, /bl/, /gl/, /mp/, /mb/, /nt/, /nd/, /st/, /ɲc/, /ɲɟ/, /ɲcl/, /ŋk/, /ŋg/, /ŋgl/) 21 series: /mp, mb, nt, nd, ns, ɲc, ɲɟ, ŋk, ŋg, ŋs, ʕb, ʕt, ʕd, ʕc, ʕk, ʕs, sk, st, ʔm, ʔ-ʕ, ʔ-mp/. In KL unique vowel sequence (homorgan series). There three rules if-then five consonants. has so contributes development KL.
